ArchSentinal is designed to be safe to run on sensitive codebases, including client work and proprietary systems.

Local-only analysis

ArchSentinal runs entirely on your machine. It reads files from your working copy, builds an in-memory dependency graph, and computes metrics. No source code is uploaded to any server.

No telemetry

The CLI and desktop application do not send usage analytics, project names, file paths, or metrics anywhere. There is no background daemon or auto-update service.

License & activation data

Pro activations are stored locally in activation.dat under your user configuration directory. This file contains a hashed machine identifier, major version, and a signed activation record. It is never uploaded by ArchSentinal.
